## Cubic Capacity Load/Linear Foot Rules/Minimum Density Rules LTL Carriers (Rev 1/16/2012)

When calculating the cubic capacity of shipment – always calculate the pallet height to 84 inches if the carrier is unable to load on top of your freight

That quantity of freight which, in the manner tendered to carrier or prescribed to be loaded so fills the vehicle that no additional article in that shipping form tendered identical in size to the largest article in the shipment can be loaded in the vehicle

Minimum Density/Linear Foot – Total shipment >830 cubic feet AND average density of less than 4 lbs per cubic foot or shipment that occupy 13 linear feet or more of trailer space that take up an average density of less than 4 lbs per cubic foot |
